Fables

Fables is a hospitality interior design and decoration project for a contemporary restaurant, bar, and event space in Marrickville, Sydney. The concept is rooted in the idea of 'foraging'—sourcing what is available and rethinking its application in a considered and meaningful interior context. The restaurant’s core vision is to show that reuse can be elevated, elegant, and visually striking. Through sustainable practices, locally sourced materials, and collaboration with Australian artisans, the design reflects chef Elena Reygadas’ commitment to biodiversity and storytelling.
